Os príncipes Harry e William divulgaram, nesta segunda-feira (13/01/2020), nota conjunta que desmente os boatos de crise na relação entre os dois.

Os herdeiros de Lady Di e príncipe Charles chegam a mencionar reportagem do The Times que especula sobre o mal-estar instalado entre os irmãos. No comunicado, a dupla descreve a matéria como “ofensiva” e afirma que o texto tem “linguagem inflamatória”.

Ao citar fonte anônima, o jornal do Reino Unido garante que Harry e Meghan Markle decidiram renunciar aos cargos do alto escalão da realeza britânica impulsionados por atitudes negativas de William, descritas pela reportagem como verdadeiros atos de “bullying”.

A declaração vem à tona no dia em que os príncipes devem se encontrar com a avó, a rainha Elizabeth II, para discutir a polêmica decisão de Harry e da mulher de deixar a função de “membros seniores”.
