Diane von Furstenberg faz almoço em celebração ao Dia da Mulher

Na última terça-feira (10/03), Diane von Furstenberg promoveu um almoço em celebração ao Dia Internacional da Mulher. Ao lado de Dori Cooperman, Nicky Rothschild e Christine Mack, a estilista belga realizou uma tarde de compras em sua loja, em Nova York, em que parte dos lucros foram direcionados à World Childhood Foundation, que atua no combate ao abuso sexual de crianças menores de 18 anos.

A anfitriã é reconhecida mundialmente por lutar pela igualdade entre gêneros. Na ocasião, vestiu um suéter que estampava a frase “O medo não é uma opção”.

Marcaram presença no evento Stacey Bendet, Dani Stahl, Helen Schifter, Lise Evans e Vanessa von Bismarck, além da presidente da World Childhood Foundation, Joanna Rubinstein.

A few years ago, I stumbled across @therealdvf looking for a global ambassador for her brand. The way she would mentor these women competing for the role has resonated with me ever since. I may have not completely understood at the time, but I sure do now. Her words are something that has always stuck with me and I’ve adored her ever since. In celebration of #internationalwomensday, I finally had the opportunity to see her speak for something she is so passionate about. My heart feels SO full to be surrounded by so many strong, smart, and outspoken women coming from all different kinds of backgrounds sharing their story. I think it is so important we listen to one another. No matter who you are.
